My family loves bread of all types. Personally, I have never made crescent rolls except for the ones in the little pop tube that you just roll and bake. I never even actually gave much thought to how to make them from scratch because the other way is just too darn convenient and inexpensive. How do they compare?

We love crescent rolls, but I have never tried making them from scratch before. Certain premade doughs you can buy in stores have such a high salt content that we cant eat them. I am really looking forward to giving these a try. They will take a bit longer, but it will be worth it. What can I do to make the dough less dense, so the rolls are light and puffy?
