Teriyaki Chicken Skewers Recipe
"With the BBQ season now in full swing, this Teriyaki Chicken Skewers Recipe is a must, must have. It’s healthy and a dream in terms of taste. The marinade is obviously the key here in this recipe. I am never shy with healthier sauces and marinades and this is definitely one to try and save. It is magnificent. I am not just saying that, and you will see what I mean if you just make this. With just a few ingredients like soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, ginger, and garlic, these teriyaki chicken skewers are the best thing to try this summer on your BBQ. Absolutely yummy!"
NotesIf you do not have chicken or wish to use different meats you could easily use beef, pork or salmon. I have made this using these before and it is absolutely delicious.

Cooking Time12 min
Ingredients
- 600 g chicken breast or thighs
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Ginger grated
- 1 tbsp Garlic grated
- 2 tbsp Sweet soy sauce or maple syrup
- 4 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Teriyaki sauce
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/2 tbsp Worchester sauce
Instructions
-
Cut the chicken into cubes. I use breast but chicken thighs are amazing too.
-
Add all the sauces into a bowl, mix well and put the chicken cubes into it. allow to marinade for at least 1 hour. You may also marinade it the night before but this is not necessary as the chicken might actually get too salty.
-
Skewer chicken with prepared skewers and place on BBQ. Cook on each side for about 4 minutes.
To cook in the oven:
-
When baking, preheat the oven to 360 degrees. Place skewers on parchment paper and bake for 30-40 minutes, depending on the meat, the cut, and the size of your meat cuts.
