Hamburger Patty Melt
"This hamburger patty melt is basically a bacon cheeseburger with all the fixings! Except instead of a bun it’s all sandwiched together on buttery bread and toasted to a golden crisp! So easy!!! This is my go-to burger when I haven’t picked up hamburger buns. Or when I want a buttery, crispy burger experience!!! I like to use a ¼ pound of lean ground chuck for making a hamburger patty melt. Sweet onion adds that oniony goodness that is a must for great burger flavor! At our house we call oniony hamburgers “fair burgers”. Because they taste just like the burgers you get at the annual county fair!!"
