I love comfort foods and pasta is one of my favorites, but second to French fries. I have never attempted a recipe like this in a slow cooker. Possibly because I have a smallish slow cooker and need to upgrade soon. Looks like I have all the other ingredients needed to make this delicious looking dish.

This is exactly the Spaghetti sauce recipe that I grew up with (except for the Worcestershire sauce). I didn't know it had such a fancy name like Bolognese. For generations in my family we have been having this sauce every Sunday for dinner. Now when people come over I can tell them I'm making "Italian Restaurant Style Spaghetti Bolognese. Of course we didn't have slow cookers back in the day, we just let it cook low and slow on the stove top. Great recipe, truly authentic.
