I love this recipe. I have made it several times with great success at exactly 7 minutes in an 1100 watt microwave. We recently moved and now have a 1200 watt microwave, and dang it, I cant get the timing right. Still edible and good, but not pretty enough to give as gifts.

I can't wait to make This 7-Minute Chocolate-Covered Microwave Caramels because I don't have to prepare the oven to do it.
