I got this recipe about 20 years ago. It is delicious. But as fsanders65 commented, making them is very time-consuming. I only make them for Christmas because my now grown kids love them. Usually my son makes the dough. It takes a strong person to mix the dough with your hands. Then I do the dropping and baking.

I made these cookies several years ago. They are ok, but not worth the time it takes to make them.
