Fried Cheese Curds
"Fried Cheese Curds just like at your local state fair without the lines, dirt or crazy expensive prices. Forget plain old fried mozzarella sticks! Appetizers, especially fried ones, are always the hit of the party or state fair and these cheese curds are no exception. We love to serve them along side Buffalo Chicken Tenders and Fried Pickles. Fried Cheese Curds aren’t just for the state fair anymore. I know most people don’t buy cheese curds at the grocery store as a general rule but if you’ve ever enjoyed fried cheese curds then you know how much better than mozzarella sticks they are."

To balance out the richness of the cheese curds, consider adding some zesty Jalapeno Poppers to your menu. These spicy and creamy bites are sure to be a hit with your guests. For a lighter option, you could also include a colorful and refreshing Caprese Salad. The combination of ripe tomatoes, fresh basil, and creamy mozzarella drizzled with balsamic glaze is always a crowd favorite.
If you're looking to add some variety to your party spread, why not include some Mini Sliders? These small burgers are perfect for guests to grab and enjoy while mingling. Another great option is to make a batch of crispy Buffalo Chicken Wings. The spicy, tangy flavor of the wings pairs perfectly with the creamy cheese curds.
Lastly, no party is complete without something sweet to end on a good note. Consider serving some homemade Brownie Bites or Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries for a decadent and delicious finish to your menu. With these tasty additions, your party is sure to be a hit with all your guests.

This is a thing? I have never had these nor have I ever heard of them before. Are they a regional item? I dont remember seeing them in SoFlo. I have issues with being lactose intolerant. Does anyone know if this would be lactose free? I will have to take notice the next time we are at a fair to see if they have these.

Cheese curds are normally found in Wisconsin and the surrounding areas. I'm pretty sure you won't find any lactose-free versions at the local state fairs, but you might be able to make them lactose-free on your own!
