This is a really nice and easy recipe for a good quick meal. I love dishes using Italian sausage and this one is no exception. Unlike the author, I love green bell peppers and always include them. I also add some of the red and yellow one as well to make the dish more colorful. To really make things quick, I always keep a couple of the Kroger Three Pepper and Onion blend packages on hand. We've also used fettuccini in place of the penne pasta, or the rotini as shown in the photo.
