The Kyocera Nonstick Wok is a versatile piece of cookware that you will go to use every day. The 12.5" wok has a ceramic nonstick coating that keeps food from sticking and a lid that keeps steam contained. This pan is perfect for making stir-fry recipes, sauce recipes, side dish recipes, and much more!
The nonstick coating on this cookware is superior to most. It is made with ceramic instead of harmful chemicals and is extremely durable. I am far from gentle with the pan and the nonstick coating has held up after a multitude of uses.
I love the shape of this wok. The curvature of the pan is perfect for stirring a large amount of food. I am prone to having food go flying while I cook stir fry recipes, and the issue was resolved with the design of this pan. The base of the pan is quite large which makes it easier to keep food contained while also ensuring it cooks evenly.
The handles on a wok are another important feature. This Kyocera Wok has a helper handle in addition to the long, ergonomic handle. It was a bit straining to flip ingredients using just the handle, but I was able to do it without spilling or dropping the pan. The helper handle definitely comes in use after your wok gets full and heavy. I used it to help pour contents of the pan into a serving dish.
The wok comes complete with a tempered glass lid. This is important since it is not a standard size lid, but instead much larger. It allows you to steam ingredients, while also being able to keep an eye on the food as it cooks.
This versatile pan would be a welcome addition to any kitchen. The large capacity, great shape, and supreme nonstick coating make it a great choice.
