These look so good, they look even tastier than some brands out there! I never thought about making my own Doritos, it really is a great idea and then you can make them to your own taste which is always an added bonus I think. I think it would make a lovely starter as well!

Homemade doritos! My son will never let me leave the kitchen again! He prefers the cheese doritos. I wonder if the bulk premium cheddar cheese powder would work with this recipe, using the cheese powder instead of the ranch dressing powder. I will have to try it both ways and see what happens.

This recipe sounds fantastic! I never would have dreamed of making doritos at home, but this recipe makes it sounds so easy! Only a few ingredients. and I like that the spice mixture makes enough for a few batches. Although the recipe called for the chips to be deep fried, I like that there was the option to bake them instead. This would definitely make them alot healthier and I'd probably feel alot less guilty about making them more often! Can't wait to try this one!
