We are huge fans of making your own homemade candy and this LorAnn Rock Candy Kit is just the place to get started. Whether you have made candy before, or tend to stay away from the kitchen, you will be able to make perfect candy recipes with this kit every time. The kit comes with everything you need to make two yummy batches, in two different flavors and colors.

The box came with two delightful flavors, butter rum and raspberry. The concentrated oils are strong when you are cooking with them, but once they harden into candy, the flavors mellow. These candies are great when you need a little sweet treat to keep you going. The candies look great if you place them in a bowl and leave them on the table. Of course, they won't last very long if you have guests! The rock candy comes out literally looking like gems. Two molds are included in the kit, both make the candy dazzle. The bright colors make the candy truly look like a precious stone.

 Not only is it fun to use the kit, but it is super easy to follow the instructions. LorAnn was also kind enough to include candy thermometers in our giveaway package. The thermometers make the candy even easier to make, though you can still easily make the candy without one. This kit makes a great gift or a fun activity to do with kids.
