Being a particularly clumsy person, this dinner set initially impressed me with its foolproof design. Firstly, the glass on the saute pan’s lid is shatter-resistant. However, even though the lid is durable enough to withstand me dropping it on the kitchen counter, it’s still see-through! I never had to peek under the lid and be scorched a plume of steam to check whether I was burning my onions or see if my tomato sauce was bubbling.



Another user-friendly feature of this dinner set is the handles of the saute pan, pan lid, and meat fork. These handles, made from a mix of rubber and stainless steel, have such a firm grip that for the first time in my kitchen, I didn’t feel in danger of dropping anything, even when I was moving dishes from the stovetop to the oven!



Speaking of the oven, did I mention that the rubber handles can withstand oven temperatures up to 400 degrees? That’s right. While most times you have to choose between a pan being oven-safe and being able to grip it comfortably, you can have both with this Anolon 4-Piece Weeknight Dinner Set! So if you want to throw a steak in the oven after pan-searing it, there’s nothing holding you back from a perfect medium-rare masterpiece.



The construction of this heavy-duty cookware also helped me make the easiest, most delectable dishes I’ve made in ages! The hard-anodized feature of the sautee pan ensured that the entire cooking surface had an even heat distribution, so there weren’t any hot spots to render my sauteed mushrooms inedible. These cooking pieces also have a nonstick coating on both their interior and exterior, too, so they’re a snap to cook with and to clean!



Though I realize I have to be careful about scratching this cookware set with improper tools, there are so many reasons to fall in love with it. PFOA-free and a sleek grey color for decorative display (I’d love hanging my saute pan from a ceiling pot rack!), this Anolon 4-Piece Weeknight Dinner Set is my new favorite kitchen gear.
