This Copycat Lou Malnati's Salad Recipe is absolutely great. I've never been to Chicago, but if the original is as good as this I can understand why it is so famous. The combination of flavors with the blue cheese and salami, mushrooms and black olives, topped with that delicious Italian dressing, make this salad not only satisfying but indulgent. Go ahead and treat yourself to this divine salad, I think it will make you want to visit Chicago.

I am guessing that this is a regional salad as I dont remember ever seeing it on any menu. Not sure if its only available in the Chicago area but it hasnt made it down to SoFlo yet. The ingredients list has some of the usual items you would find on a salad so it must be the dressing that sets this apart from all others? Anybody had this before?

I'm a huge fan of lou malnati's salad - I almost like it as much as the pizza itself! The only thing I would add to this recipe is the bacon bits!

Speaking as someone who grew up in Chicagoland, this Lou Malnati's salad is truly one of the best salads I've ever eaten. This copycat recipe is a must-have for any Chicagoan or anyone that loves salad!
