The Primula Flavor Now Beverage System is a new way to enjoy homemade flavored waters in less than 10 minutes. This system comes complete with everything you need to make fruit and herb flavored waters, just add your favorite ingredients. The pitcher holds the instant infusion core in which you muddle the ingredients using the flavor wand. After allowing the fruits and herbs to infuse the water, you put in the chill core to keep your beverage icy cold. This new product is perfect for the hot, summer months.
We used the beverage system to make strawberry-lemon infused water. We followed the recipe included with the product and only needed to supply strawberries and a single lemon. After cutting up the fruit, we placed it in the instant infusion core. Muddling the fruit was simple as can be using the flavor wand. It took less than a minute to get all the fruit juice muddled and with little effort needed. We poured water over the muddled fruit and let it sit for seven minutes. After the flavors meld, you simply replace the infusion core with the chill core. We kept the pitcher out for a few hours and our strawberry-lemon water stayed the perfect cool temperature. The water had a great taste. It was definitely lighter than juice, but still flavorful and refreshing. The 2.7 quart pitcher holds a nice sized batch of water, enough for a few people sitting outside. Everything was super easy to clean, especially the flavor wand, which opens from the bottom. You can even put all the pieces in the dishwasher.
