This 2-in-1 Hutzler Garlic Slicer is a multifunctional tool every cook should have in their kitchen. This small gadget makes slicing and shredding fresh garlic as easy as can be. The slicer is essentially a mini mandolin specifically crafted for garlic.

Cutting garlic can be quite frustrating because the cloves are small and hard to hold while wielding a knife. This device makes it ever so simple to get super thin slices or shredded garlic. Simply place the garlic under the finger guard and press the finger guard down on the clove(s). Then slide back and forth across the blade just like a mandolin. The slices come out perfectly uniform and you end up using way more of the clove than you would if you were slicing the clove by hand. The risk of cutting yourself is far less than trying to use a big knife to cut a small clove especially since there is a finger guard designed to protect you.
