These look so yummy. The recipe says that it only makes about nine sandwich cookies. Thats no very many for my family, but these look bigger than the average oreo cookie. My family all have some lactose intolerance issues but I can easily tweak these ingredients to make it dietary friendly for everyone.

This recipe for Homemade Golden Oreos sounds so good. I don't buy cookies and so I can say I never had a Golden Oreo before so I can't compare them. These came out so good, I couldn't eat just one. I added a extra 1/2 of flour to the recipe and they didn't flatten out as much. The hard part was waiting the 4 hours while the dough sat in the refrigerator. The next time I make these I will mix the dough at night so I can stay out of it. I have been told it's not good to eat raw cookie dough. LOL Also I need to note I will use real vanilla next time in the frosting for a better flavor. Thank you so much for sharing this free recipe that I will be making again.
